Children's Dental Care in San Bernardino
Early Smiles is a school-based program that serves children who lack access to dental care throughout the county. Through funding by First 5 San Bernardino, we assist preschool and elementary school kids with preventative dental care, instruct on healthy habits, and connect children with the work they need. Our Dental Services in San Bernardino
COH has offered oral health screenings, instruction, and fluoride varnish application within classrooms in partnership with the San Bernardino County Head Start Program, Fontana Unified School District, Ontario-Montclair School District, San Bernardino County State Preschool Program, Easterseals, and Early Learning Centers.
Our Collaborations & Partnerships
We improved collaboration between medical and dental providers by integrating oral health into primary care settings. These include SAC Health System, Unicare Community Health Center, St. Mary’s Community Health Center, Central Neighborhood Health Foundation, Dignity Health, and WIC. Early Smiles also partnered with family resource centers such as Rancho Cucamonga Family Resource Center, Hearts & Lives, and The Mom & Dad Project, among others.
