Dr. Dillenberg is the inaugural Dean of A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health. He received his Master’s Degree in Public Health from the Harvard School of Public Health and completed his dental education at New York University, College of Dentistry. Dr. Dillenberg is a Board Member of the American Association of Developmental Medicine and Dentistry, the Association for Prevention Teaching and Research, the Caplin Family Foundation and is the Vice Chair for First Things First Southeast Maricopa Region and Board Chairman for the Center for Oral Health. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Public Health Dentistry, the American Dental Education Association as well as many others. Prior to joining ASDOH, Dr. Dillenberg was Associate Director for public health programs in the California Department of Health Services and prior to that was an Area Health Officer serving the west area of the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services. Dr. Dillenberg is also President of Dillenberg & Friends, Inc. providing a full scope of health services consulting. During most of the 1990s, Dr. Dillenberg served in several capacities in the Arizona Department of Health Services, including Director and Assistant Director in the Division of Family Health Services. Dr. Dillenberg has also served in numerous positions on health-related boards and associations and is the recipient of a great number of honors and awards, including the U.S Public Health Service Chief Dental Officer’s Service Award and the Harvard School of Public Health Alumni Award of Merit. Dr. Dillenberg is recognized at the local, state, and national levels as an expert in the area of public health leadership, health program development, social marketing, oral health issues, health center design, training of community health workers, community organizing and lecture presentations.

Randy J. Friedman has 30 years of professional leadership experience as a corporate executive, management advisor, consultant, investment banker, fundraiser, and entrepreneur. He has held executive, leadership and governance positions working in Fortune 100, Entrepreneurial and Not-for-Profit environments.
Since 2002, Mr. Friedman serves as Managing Director of Sogno Group, a consulting firm delivering corporate development, financial and management consulting services to businesses and non-profits. Clients include Boeing, Magnify360, Oral Health Solutions, UCSF, Documenthosting.com, Western University, MediaBroker, Jade LTD and others. In addition, Mr. Friedman privately invests in or owns several technology and media companies including Dynamic Networks, Enigma Studios, Panorama Pacific and ArtPlusRep. Mr. Friedman also serves as Board Member and Board Advisor to the Center for Oral Health and it's for profit spinoff Oral Health Solutions, respectively.
From 2001 to 2002, Mr. Friedman served as COO of Exadel, Inc, where he repositioned this off-shore development company into a fast growing open-source software firm. During his tenure, he launched new products, improved sales by more than 700%, completed multi-million-dollar agreements with signature clients including ABN AMRO and General Electric and partnerships with IBM, Sun, Sybase, and other leading technology companies.
From 1998 to 2001, Mr. Friedman was SVP and later COO of StreetFusion, a financial industry information and media hub acquired by ThomsonRueters. Responsible corporate development and venture finance, Mr. Friedman led growth from 100 to 7,000 clients. He also facilitated venture investments of more than $20 million, and improved sales from $0 to a $15 million and established strategic alliances with Yahoo, United Business Media, Reuters, and others.
From 1992 to 1998, Mr. Friedman served as founder and CEO of HCS, an innovator in the health care informatics market, specializing in automated workflow and billing systems for hospitals, medical groups, and laboratories. During his tenure, the company achieved 20 consecutive quarters of sales growth and profitability, with 2000% annual growth in the first four years.
From 1985 to 1992, Mr. Friedman was a VP at Chemical Securities Corporation, a division of Chemical Bank New York, now JP Morgan & Co. He managed a group which developed and marketed new financial products and conducted transactions with an aggregated value of $2 billion helping this subsidiary grow its profits to $250 million. Earlier he focused on corporate restructurings, public offerings, debt syndications, LBO, and DIP financings, and asset-backed financing for a wide variety of corporations and government entities. Mr. Friedman was, at 24, the youngest Vice President at the firm.
From 1983 to 1984. Mr. Friedman served as Intern and Analyst in the Municipal Finance Department at Paine Webber in San Francisco, CA.
Mr. Friedman graduated Columbia University in 1991 with a MBA Degree in Finance and Real Estate (Beta Gamma Sigma) and University of California, Berkeley in 1985 with a Bachelors Degree in Economics (Departmental Honors and Honors Program).

Throughout her 20 year career with Henry Schein, Kathleen has been the embodiment of what it means to live by the Henry Schein mantra “doing well by doing good”. Kathleen has served in several capacities throughout her career with Henry Schein; the last decade of which has been focused on public health. Kathleen has been acknowledged by industry peers and customers alike as a pioneer of Henry Schein’s Community/Primary Health program. She has received several Outstanding Leadership Awards for Public Health Advocacy and has been invited to sit on a number of key advisory boards. She currently sits the Advisory board for National Network for Oral Health Access.
Kathleen’s current role as Area Director for Community Dental/Public Health allows her to interface with a number of important associations and gatekeeper organizations. These relationships have resulted in helping to identify programs where Henry Schein Cares grants has been essential to increasing health access points and enhanced delivery of care.
One of Kathleen’s visions is to work across the aisle to create a bridge between public and private entities focused on addressing the complex challenges of health disparities. Kathleen has demonstrated the power of collaboration through as novel approach to problem solving.

Conrado E. Bárzaga, MD

Conrado Bárzaga, MD is the Executive Director of the Center for Oral Health, a California based nonprofit research and professional education institute.
Dr. Bárzaga is an internationally recognized public health leader with nearly 20 years of progressively important positions with organizations addressing healthcare issues.
He has served in top leadership positions for the Los Angeles County Commission on Children and Families First Proposition 10 (First 5 LA), Planned Parenthood, and Sacred Heart University’s Area Health Education Center. He is a member of the Senior Dental Leadership group at The Global Children’s Dental Fund at King’s College London and Harvard University, and a Coro fellow.
Prior to his appointment to the Executive Director position with Center for Oral Health, Dr. Bárzaga directed the Health Investments for the Los Angeles First 5 Commission and helped develop the Los Angeles Oral Health Needs Assessment of Underprivileged Children, the Oral Health and Nutrition Initiative, The First 5 Association’s Oral Health Peer Learning Collaborative, the Baby-Friendly Hospital initiative, and the Community Water Fluoridation of Los Angeles County.

Joseph Colaneri is a public affairs director in Foley & Lardner’s Government & Public Policy Practice. His experience includes government relations, association management, legislative and political analysis, employee and corporate communications, and grassroots lobbying.
Dr. Colaneri advises a wide variety of clients on renewable energy and alternative fuels project funding, tax policy, infrastructure legislation and health care policy. He is a member of the Government & Public Policy and International Practices as well as the Energy Industry Team.
Prior to joining Foley, Dr. Colaneri was director of government affairs for the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association, the largest mining association by product volume in the world. In this role, he served as chief lobbyist before the U.S. Senate and principal tax lobbyist for the association. His accomplishments include the successful lobbying of Congress on the reauthorization of TEA 21 – the highway bill.
Dr. Colaneri has also served as executive director for the Propane Vehicle Council; Washington representative for Unocal Corporation, a Fortune 100 oil and natural gas company with annual revenues of $8-$11 billion; and legislative assistant to both Congressman Cecil Heftel and Congressman Norman Y. Mineta. He was the energy, environmental and military affairs advisor to then congressman and now Hawaii Governor Neil Abercrombie.
In these positions, Dr. Colaneri has been an integral part of the congressional debate on national energy policy. He drafted the Wind Energy Systems Act of 1980 which became Public Law 96-345. He successfully lobbied for the permanent extension of the business energy tax incentives for geothermal energy production enacted as part of the Energy Policy Act of 1992.
He also drafted energy tax provisions providing tax equity for liquefied petroleum gas (propane) motor vehicle fuel under the highway excise tax which were enacted into law, and he developed the initial energy tax provisions enacted in the omnibus energy legislation of 2005 providing significant federal tax incentives for alternative fuel vehicles and infrastructure. Over this period of time, Dr. Colaneri has worked with virtually every major national oil and natural gas and renewable and alternative fuel stakeholder group.
